Exciting News: We’ve Merged with Bluestone Group!

We have some big news to share with our clients, community members, and the landscape design and installation industry!

Last week we completed the merger of Indigenous Ingenuities LLC with Bluestone Landscape Design Group.  As part of the transaction, founder and owner of Indigenous Ingenuities, Matthew Benzie, will join Mark Savitsky and Jeff Robinson as a partner leading Professional Landscape Services, Inc, which will now do business as both Bluestone Landscape Design Group in New Hope, PA and Indigenous Ingenuities in Doylestown, PA.  Jeff will serve as President of Bluestone Group and Matt will serve as President of Indigenous Ingenuities, while Mark becomes Chief Executive Officer of Professional Landscape Services, Inc.   Through this merger, the expert team of designers, installers, carpenters, and maintenance team members at Indigenous Ingenuities will begin working under the broader Professional Landscape Services, Inc. corporation.

The relationship between the two companies began in 2023 through a collaboration that included Bluestone Group installing numerous Indigenous Ingenuities landscape design plans.  The synergies between the two companies became quickly apparent as the partnership revealed a complement to each other’s strengths and opportunities.  A formal merger of the two companies was a natural next step, believing we would bring out the best in each other, while remaining true to who we are as individual brands.

Matt Benzie said the following about the merger, “Indigenous Ingenuities is excited to start its next chapter. Our goal has always been to offer the highest quality and most skilled service possible. By merging with Bluestone Group, we are collectively adding resources and experience to our tool belt. Indigenous Ingenuities being a younger and innovative company and Bluestone Group having a solid foundation of over 40 yrs operating in Bucks county, we now have an even greater ability to offer a comprehensive suite of services to our clients”.

For those who are current and longstanding customers and industry partners of both Bluestone Group and Indigenous Ingenuities, nothing changes.  Each brand will remain true to its respective missions, influencing each other to evolve together in the best interest of the customer, the teams, and our natural environment.  The people will remain the same, while the focus on the customer experience and the quality of the work will never change.
